“She’s not staying!” She proclaimed, sternly.
“You’re such a bitch, Lisa. She is just a puppy!”
“Yes, I am well aware of that, since she has peed and pooped on my carpet twice in the past four days.”
“She’s just a puppy!” He shouted.
“And I don’t have time for a PUPPY!”
“You don’t seem to have time for anybody lately, except for yourself. Why is that?” Cole asked.
“We have been doing stuff all week.” She started in on him again.
“I know that, but you have been somewhere else. You seem like you’re in a different world, Lisa.”
“I just don’t want to be with you anymore, Cole. Don’t you get it? YOU don’t make me happy anymore. I want to be happy!” Lisa yelled.
“I want to be with you. I’m not leaving, Lisa, so get used to it.”
“Please Cole, just give me sometime to get myself together. I just need some time to be by myself.”
“What does that mean? Lisa, are you cheating on me?” Cole asked, suspiciously.

Julian’s Voice:
“I’ll be right back Mama. Just hold on!” Jewels ran over to the edge of the loft, peering down the stairwell, calling out into the blazing house.
“Paxton? Help us. I found Mama, but she’s unconscious.”
Jewels could scarcely make out Paxton standing at the end of the hall. There was an inferno of flames and smoke in between them, the entire house was in flames, except for the three bedrooms down the hall and the loft. However, the whole house was consumed with smoke.

Julian’s Voice
The singing voice enveloped her, making her feel safe, peaceful and loved. Although, she was presently alone, she had an overwhelming feeling that she was not alone. She felt a presence around her and inside of her. She felt no sadness, no guilt, no regret, and no pain. She just felt comfort and peace.
She felt the cool, soft sand squishing in between her toes. It felt nice to be walking on the beach barefoot. The sun was set right overhead with its resonating reds, intensifying oranges, and cheery yellows. The early afternoon was cool, even though the sun was so bright.
